Rec'd and had my NEW steering box installed (psc-sg400) a little larger than the leaking stock one. on Monday.

 

Installed airaid cold air kit and a flowmaster 40 muffler. Dunno if it gave me any more power but boy it sounds great!

 

Took the 03 Sahara to National Auto Center for a complete cleaning. They did a great job. She looks all clean and tarted up.

 

reinstalled my fog lights after having to remove them because of the new tube bumper!

 

bought a superwinch 8500 and a mount plate!! just waiting for the delivery van now!!

 

Nice on the superwinch I have one for 3 years now, only problem i had was the cable came off the drum (not because it was out to far) just slip off ..under warrantee you can get it put back on.. if you have any problems call them in Conn they have a toll free line, really great bunch of people Did u get a rope or wire cable?

 

Roof change over day! Starting to get the TJ ready for the winter weather. Hard top back on, Jeep scrubbed and spare wheel cover washed and dried! Not as much fun as Springtime . . . :(

 

installed my winch, but had to remove my tubular bumber. Will have to make a few mods to it so it will work with the winch. for now I will have to put the old factory bumper back until after bird season, when i have more time.

The superwinch that i bought came with the wire rope, when it is time to replace the wire i will subsitute syn rope. the price was right $299. with shipping came to $350. Got to love having a USA shipping address.

 

Winter is just around the corner so the hardtop went back on today, with the help of a few friends, works great when u have extra hands.

 

Got my new wheels/rims mounted and installed look rather nice. Wife comes home and says nice mickey mouse tires...lol call em as u want they look great, quite on the dry hwy, so far handle very nicely in the heavy rain, will see how they are in snow.
