1 Wait and wheel it first...... Get a feel for it and see what you need.

2 Winch..... It will get you out of the bad stuff you got your stock Jeep into.

3 Bigger...... Tires..... Axles.... You will break something along the way, buy or make it stronger.

4 Lighting...... Stock TJ headlights are crap....... this is one upgrade I made that was cheap and made me enjoy my Jeep even more. Hella, KC, ProComp all sell upgrade kits that you can put H4 bulbs in...... Makes a world of difference.

5 Lift...... The day will come when you need to run with the big boys...... You have been out there and need to get to see what is down the trail.......

Stay away from gimmicks...... they are a waste of time and money.

Put on the soft top today - drove around with no top, great feeling, wind blowing. real cool. Wish it wasn't such a hazel to remove and put back on the side windows or I'd run it top down every day it didn't rain. As it don't fold down very well with those side windows in. :(

Went out for a tour, top down, sunny, got caught in a mother of an Alberta thundershower, put the topup, of course the windows are in the garage at home. Waited out the rain as best as I could, drove the Jeep home in water over my ankles, got it into the garage, pulled out the ShopVac and started sucking water. Guess how much water you can easily carry in the floor pans of your YJ? At least 10 gallons, cause it wasn't quite filled to the top. Now the carpets are just damp, and I have the fans going. I'll keep drying and heating and running fans, unbelieveable storm in Southern Alberta this afternoon!!!
