Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Got really bored yesterday (lots of rain) so I wired a USB port into the center console. Going to put 110v plugs front and back later. I'll post some pics tonight.

Im starting to contemplate ditching a rebuild of the 4.0 into a stroker and putting in a Diesel...
here Gas is $1.40, and Diesel is $1.34
just considering how much better my jetta is on fuel as well as now costing less... i need a better solution in my Jeep lol... im thinking a 4BT would do just nice! lol maybe this fall...

Typical day today, sign in to post some pics and erase them instead. Think I should go back to bed and try again tomorrow.
It would be interesting to see if the wiring is close enough with the 3.0 for it to work without it turning into a major hassle.
PCM, front wiring harness, and a transmission adapter plate and you'd be in business.

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
I turned 388,000km today, but caught the 1 with the camera... ugh! lol
I would do a 3.9L 4BT Cummins swap, its a couple hundred pounds lighter than a 6BT, but only a couple hundred pounds heavier than the 4.0L... it still makes a decent amount of power... (130hp, 355 ftlbs) and would probably improve my mileage...
the only thing that clouds my judgement is my heavy foot that likes to get things going... i know a stroker would probably be more fun... and setting it up so i dont have to run hightest would be very important... so yeah im just all mixed up...
guess id have to see how hard it would be for me to get all necessary to transplant a 4BT into my ZJ...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
With all the extra torque you could even keep your 3.55s and have decent mileage and low end power. You could probably fit a set of springs from a Dakota or Durrango to take the extra weight to.

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Well I downsized my tires from the 33x9.50r15's I was running around in to some relatively stock 235/75r15's as I am err.. selling my Jeep. I took some photos of the 33's on it before they got taken off, I'm sure some are wondering how they fit with no lift.
