I dont think I'll be shearing this one off anytime soon. All machined steel including both yokes. No cast in this puppy.
Don't want to catch it in the head either when under there, the wieght is 55 lbs.

Well today was a little bit of love, just some WD 40 in the locks and door strikes... Adjusted my black ZJ door so it actually opens and shuts properly... still need to adjust the drivers door, gotta give it a bit of an elbow to get it open...
still havn't touched the wheel bearing... yesterday would have been the day to do it... was a sunny 1C out lol
really thinking about painting the red ZJ black... and doing a bit of body work popping out the rest of the dents... getting rid of a few pesky rust spots, and get ready to beef it up for some lift, and that Dana 44

Had to replace my PIAA bulbs just a few days ago, passenger side bulb burnt out. I got them warrantied so I didn't pay for them again, thank goodness! I did an oil change about two weeks ago as well, nothing major yet. Still no lift kit..

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Still drowning in Kitimat, BC when we're not getting buried in snow. Not to bad for a job that was only supposed to last 6 months and it's been 10 months now. For a place that gets 200+ inches of rain a year it's surprising that very few people have garages here so the todo list is getting long. Hopefully it will all get done over the next month...
1. Tune up
2. Change all fluids
3. Repair rear oil seal
4. Adjust transmission bands
5. Remove 247 and install 242
6. Install power inverter
7. Replace F/R swaybar and endlink bushings
8. Replace inline fuel filter
9. Replace 1/1 O2 sensor
10. Find new ground point for ham radio
11. Make rock guards for driving lights
12. Install rock sliders

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
sounds like u wll be busy. on item #8 it states in a service manual I have NOT to change the fuel filter unless you are getting a trouble code. I have thought many times to do this to till I read this. Thought was what if trouble code is too late. But look at it the other way why touch it if all is working? Yes I understand routine maintenance just going along what I have read.

I haven't had any codes over the filter but I've just never been conviced that there is such a thing as a "lifetime" filter. Gas station tanks are full of crud that gets stirred up everytime they get refilled and I can't see that soup can sized filter holding it all over the years.
