Sounds like your having all kinds of fun Mike. Hope you manage to get it all figured out soon. Crawled under and adjusted the transmission bands yesterday, the shifting between 2-3 was getting ridiculous. Will have to try and tweak it a touch more tomorrow since I've still got a little bit of a surge.

yeah, the action never stops... the cv joint was a bit loose, put in a new one, and its popping again... u joint probably fell apart... i popped in the c clips but i am willing to bet that they didn't stay in place...

stabilizer is in, just going to get an alignment and probably replace the other u joint...
also put on new front pads...

I also picked up a couple 100w offroad lights... went cheap on them at $25 a pop, i just know that their going to end up getting beat up... and id hate to screw up some hella's...
now im debating on installing them on the bull bar, or putting them up on the roof rack...

Need to do both of the u-joints for the rear shaft since I think they are OME. Starting to get a clunk when it goes into gear.

i had to remove my front drive shaft on my trip home from halifax yesterday...i had a constant popping, and a TON of vibration... and ofcourse its in the double cardian joint... UGH!!!

Always something...

contemplating replacing all universal joints, just make it all fresh and smooth...

I also bought some mint 15" Jeep wheels from a wrangler, for the winter, like these things are in crazy good shape... bought them for next to nothing...

The joys of Jeepin'. I've got to get my winter tires sent to me in Kitimat since I don't think I'm going to be making a special trip back to McMurray to get them.
Will have to see how the Jeep does in real snow since it can snow 4-5' overnight here. Back in the bush there is still snow on the ground in a lot of places! Hopefully I have the 242 installed before the snow comes down again.

Relaced the pooched front u-joint on the read driveshaft. (Actually did both) I hate "permanently" lubricated anything since they really don't exist. Luckily NAPA has lots of greaseable ones.
Had to adjust the bands on the transmission to, was getting tired of the hard shift between 2nd and 3rd. Cut the cat out to since it was starting to make a loud gravel sound over bumps. Time for a new system soon. Time to order some Thorley headers!

Welded in my Dynomax Muffler today, tucked my exhaust where its supposed to be, hello regained ground clearance...

from the tranny support, to the bend over the axle, my previous exhaust consisted of 9 pieces of pipe, for like what 4ft of exhaust... muffler was bent in half, and clearly visible from the sides... what a mess

grabbed the trusty plasma cutter, cut the pipes off the cat, and welded on new pipes, got everything in place fitting tight and welded it up...

seriously only took 3 hours to do...

and my lights went up on the roof rack... but im thinking about setting them up like truck lights, right by the windshield pillars... but im wondering how much view they would block on a ZJ... they look awesome on TJ's and JK's...
