my 93's 4.0L is coming together, got everything cleaned up, put some assembly grease on the cylinder-walls, and just and snugged up the cylinder head... still lots to do though, hopefully I can have it running tonight

East Coast Gear Supply hooked me right up on my Dana 44... they left everything on the axle, just going to have to put on new rotors, ebrake shoes and cables and it will be ready to roll with 3.73's in it (maybe my ZJ will have a bit of acceleration again LOL)

but gotta get back to work... have to head home next week

Well she purrs like a kitten... Had fun though, fuel regulator was leaking like crazy, dried up from a year with no fuel in it... so i had to go find new O rings to fit it, and i had the firing order incorrect... but got it all sorted out and she runs like a champion...

Tomorrow is getting the D35 out of my ZJ, and making room for a D44!

Changed the fluid in the diffs, new air filter, and new plugs... now it will run nice and smooth to North Bay and back this weekend....

Bonus: canadian tire has 'engine enamel' spray paint that is a near perfect match to my taupe-frost-metalic paint.

Well im giving up on putting the Dana 44 in my 98 ZJ, the D35 is giving me nothing but problems, i've yet to get a bolt out, so im just going to slap the 44 in the black 93 ZJ and hope that helps me get the money i was looking for from it, sigh, although i would love to have the black beast up here...

well i just made it home in time to give the old lady the jeep for a week, the starter died in the Jetta... oh and so did the turbo... so is it safe to say the jeep is more reliable than the Jetta (luckily it broke down on me... at home, just after a trip around NB) campbellton - moncton - woodstock - dalhousie.

gas leak is getting bad in the jeep... gotta fix that, and i think i have a wheelbearing on the way out.

Sounds like your having all kinds of fun Mike! So far I've only had to replace the steering stabalizers and rear sway bar bushings this month so I'm ahead of you for a change. lol
I could imagine 60's under the jeep, just have to get that stoker put in so that I could get it up a hill. Still looking for a 44 though, one day...

i mean the beef of the 60, you'd have to have a stroker on it LOL... i meah the build quality they put into that 60 was redicilous... ARB lockers and covers... their running a deal if you buy a ARB locker, you get a free diff cover of your choice... great guys to deal with, and are willing to ship up here which is great.

crap i forgot to mention, i didn't put the Dana 44 in the 93 jeep, i slapped it in the back of 98ZJ and brought it up to Canada :-p i'm going to beef it up just a bit before i slap it under my jeep... and im going to redo all of my brake lines for good measure, and ohhh yeah, those longer coils i have just lying around :-p

the black 93ZJ made its way to the scrap yard, which admittedly hurt... i loaded it up with scrap steel i had lying around, a 460 big block... you name it... but i managed to take a few bits off of it, front fenders, and a door that got hit by a tree :-p lol

Always hard to retire them isn't it? I think once I win the lottery I'll take mine to Kevin in Phoenix and get him to put a set of JK 44's in it. :)
Still looking at the E-Lockers F/R once the ring and pinion are done. 4.56's should get me where I want to go, will need to get one of those 15 gallon flow 'n' go's mounted on the roof rack for when I want to drive around town though. lol
