This is -------- too, the "parking brake" is one of two "cans" (air
cannisters) for each drum. they both run off the same air system, the
same lines feed them and they both opperate the same drum brake. Yes the
service brakes "push" the shoe.

cannisters) for each drum. they both run off the same air system, the
same lines feed them and they both opperate the same drum brake. Yes the
service brakes "push" the shoe.

Euro comercial trucks have been using discs for years, in fact I seem to
recall some of the Volvo's semi's you can find over hear (which are some
of the safest and also most comfortable Rigs to drive) have discs. May
have only been front discs though. Bill will no doubt wail and nash his
teeth over Volvo semi trucks.

I like nearly all truck driver drove a million miles sanely, and
never needed the emergency sand pits.
