Re: OT: Not Every Trucker Runs Two Logs
Not funny! I just got tired of telling him that most long haul
truckers are independent businessman, and probably run two log books to
make it. And that all the retail companies got out of the transportation
business twenty years ago. Except government subsidized businesses, like
the Railroads. Those that can't understand that fact, are hopelessly
ignorant!

Re: OT: Not Every Trucker Runs Two Logs
But "most long haul truckers are independent businessman, and probably run
two log books to make it" wasn't what you said in your original statement.
There were no "most" and "probably" qualifiers. Actually, the only qualifier
in your original statement was "every:"
"L.W. (ßill) ------ III" <----------@***.net> wrote in message

Ted was taking issue with your assumptions that EVERY trucker is an OO and
EVERY trucker runs two logs. (I assume that's illegal, I'm not a trucker.)
And you're the only one that brought up retail companies, and no one was
referring to them...only trucking companies.
Your flip-flops would make a liberal weenie proud....

Re: OT: Not Every Trucker Runs Two Logs
Matt, it's really very hard for me to believe you own any type of
business, you seem so... naive about how we shirt the laws, and find
loop holes, it's a must! And you apparently never bother to figure out
what you actually make an hour. That's like a common denominator we can
use to see now we measure up against others in your High School class,
are you interested?
