I like my rough country 4" susp lift, ride quality is good, and not too tall for the wife, looks good on the jeep. I also like IRO's 4" kit, it comes with an adj fr track bar. Prices aren't bad, but installation can be pricey. Cost me almost $650 to get mine installed and took about ten hrs.
Be warned, once lifted, you will likely find other issues, and be watching for any signs of death wobble.

Im contemplating dropping the extra and getting IRO's Premium 6.5" lift...

I but a part of me kinda wants to stick to 4" Lift... i like the idea of having a lower center of gravity... i might go with IRO yet again... but with the Critical Path Long Arm, as well as replace the rear upper ball joint, new A-arm bushings... and adjustable rear trackbar...

either way the budget is around $2k... the 6.5"kit blows it, but replaces 99% of the stuff i have concern about... so its kinda what i might end up doing...

Changed the liftgate struts. Now it opens properly and fits better when closed.

Not mine but used to be mine, changed the alternator. I've known the truck for a long time and I think it was the original alternator, not bad for nearly 300k on the odo.

Had to explain to the wife that the jeep has locking front and rear axles and is literally ALL wheel drive, all the time, and that it COULD drive thru the gate at the end of the driveway... shes used to the old transfercase and complained it didn't feel like it was in 4x4... and i could tell she never moved it, she was fighting with the transfercase lever "feeling" for the engagment like the old 242HD in the old jeep... and got out and shoveled lol...

lesson learned when i got in and drove up the snowbank across the street

Also widened the driveway at the inlaws... she couldn't get over how much snow it would push, without being on solid ground...

Got my new window seals today and installed them...

Also picked up some speakers to replace my factory ones (had a dead one in the driver door), i do have the Infinity Amp to give them that extra boost for now, until i put in a new headunit...

Ugh, so i had issues with my drivers door speaker, it barely makes any noise, it creates bass so i know the woofer is working and that its connected atleast... i picked up some 6x9's and 6.5" to swap it out and get it going again and barely any noise coming out of the new woofers... checked connection out the head unit and at the infinity amp and all LOOKS well, going to jump my speakers at the amp and see if the issue is coming from there or not...

Just frustrating...

Yep amp has failed to output sound to the front left door speaker...
