Today I got my exhaust mounted up nice and tight to the unibody and welded up, changed the fluid in the tc and found a ripped bushing in the front diff so I got that ordered up just waiting for it to come.

One question though, doesn't the 247 tc take 2 litres of fluid? I got just over a litre and a half in and then it started coming out the fill plug.

I think the manual says 1.6, if your not sure take it for a spin in 4wd and then check the level again.

so i fixed the roommates car, and the other roommate take it out off road, gets it stuck in abit of snow... they wake me up to tell me this in the middle of the night, yea go take the jeep and get them, we'll get it out in the morning... "me sleep now"

i get woke up early in the am again...
we were out there all night like 4 hours trying to get the car out and the jeep... i've got to go so drive me into work and go get the car out...

i get into the jeep, and the steering wheel doesn't feel right... oh they were rocking the **** out of the wheel and loosened it right up... they definitely got it stuck... had it in 2wd, and put it in 4 full time instead of part time or low...
then i start it up, and holy crap this is louder than normal, and its rattling against the frame...

well they knocked the back half of the exhaust off... pre axle...

so im a little pissed im just going to haul this car out of the snow... and no go... 4 Lo in reverse, on tightly packed gravel... i got nothing... come to find out, only 2 wheels of the car are on the ground... the back two... and its FWD... they never brought shovels last night... amateurs... and im trying to pull the car over it...so its either reposition behind the car and pull it out, or dig it out (since i know where my shovel is in my jeep)...

dig it out, drove the car out under its own power in under an hour, with one person helping, there was 3 of them last night...

i love knowing what im doing cause i make those guys feel like idiots...

plus i got the jeep stuck myself, and got it out in under 30 seconds... its knowing what your doing with what you have...

so today is cut off the last flange, and clamp on a turn down, and secure it to the underside of the jeep...

and fix the drivers window which they had broken in the car... the bracket that gets glued to the window, snapped on both tracks... can we say JB Weld...

Just remind them that the other use for a shovel is "room mate relocation" some digging required. Hope your T/C is ok.

Yesterday I gave it a nice wash, wax, cleaned the wheel wells and also pressure washed underneath. Changed the o2 sensor thats been giving me a code for the past 6 months but have been too lazy to change, of course the new one is defective and throwing another code so I am going to change it again today. I also need to do my front diff bushings, I noticed last week that the one on top of the pumpkin was torn to hell, so I ordered one ($80) bucks for one of those bushings is rape, so I am going to do that today as well but I noticed when I was changing the o2 sensor that the passenger one looks like its torn to hell as well.

Where are you getting your o2 sensors from?, for the difference in price the only ones I've found that work properly are from the dealership or if you know a place that stocks NGK's (stock jeep) the bosch ones usually don't last to long.

hey dan, what kinda exhaust modifications am i going to need to clear the back axle with a bunch of lift, few weeks till 2", then end of summer its going way up to 6" wondering since i have to get some piping done, can i just do it now...

or got a link to a pic of the modified exhaust going over the axle, tube diameter is going to be 2.5" (since the stock shrinks down to 2.25" or smaller...
