Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
I was so used to working on them with even a 2" lift that when my buddy bought his 03, I was laying under it cursing away wondering why I couldn't get at that one last bolt and then it hit me.
Told him he needed to lift it so it would be a real Jeep.

Dan, i think you are the only one that does anything serious to theirs. Either that or everyone else is too busy wrenching theirs to post what they are doing.
All I did today was fill it up with diesel fuel before driving it to work, count for anything? haha.

If getting fuel where you live is anything like it is here then yeah it does. :), all the stations here won't turn the pump on until you've gone inside and pre-paid for your fuel.
Yesterday I was at a full service station, at the till with cash in hand, and they still wouldn't fill it until I "ESTIMATED" how much I would need! Needless to say the manager did not like my response.
How do you like the diesel? What's the mileage like in it?

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Well I didn't do anything on the GC today but I have a 98 TJ to try and resucitate starting tomorrow.
The thing hasn't been taken care of for a long time. I haven't even started into it and I'm already shaking my head just looking at it.

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Well the Addco swaybars came in today, to bad they were for a 1994 GC. They only missed by a decade. Now I get to wait for another month for the proper one's to show up.
The TJ is almost back to life, 4-5 more hours and it should be breathing on it's own.

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Good news and bad news day, new teraflex endlinks showed up today...unfortunately the 80lbs of rock sliders on a pallette they were straped to are MIA. I'm really starting to dislike DHL. Thier getting to be as bad as UPS.
The 98 TJ is alive and well and out the door, so at least one good thing today.

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Well I finally got ahold of DHL and they claim that they've been trying to deliver my rock sliders since Friday.
Didn't have much to say when I reminded them that I can see them from my office window (about 500 feet away) and nobody has been by. I can't go and pick them up since they are supposedly on the truck I just have to be patient.
HA!! Right.
Obviously they don't understand there's Jeep parts involved here.

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Getting ready to paint the sliders and install on the weekend. Man I love KOR stuff, pure beef for offroading. The outside tube is 2" x 2" and they are about 1/2" short of going from wheel well to wheel well. Now I just need to find some big rocks to test them on.
