haha isn't it true though... seems like when you fix something else she self corrects the other problem just magically dissappears...

but i definetly agree with ya i rather hit up a good long trail and actually go somewhere rather sit there and play in the puddle back and forth... i mean i'll go thru if its getting me somewhere... but the way i see it the jeeps suspension is one of the best, its meant to flex! so you should be crawling over stuff putting it to work... all that hard work and money... well mostly money... should be put to use... why cover it with mud

its fun when you get out and at a look and one tire is tucked up in the fender, the other tire is extended down on the ground...

Hey guys,

I have a 02 wjHO and i was woundering if anyone knew what I could gain by swapping my stock injectors for those in a 01-02 mustang cobra. The flow rate is a little higher on the stang injectors and the ev connectors are the same. Has anyone tried swapping injectors before?

Unless your going to be upgrading a bunch of other thing's that require the extra fuel, including getting the PCM flashed there is no point in going with bigger injectors with the 4.7 the PCM will maintain the 14.7: 1 air/ fuel ratio and it will run just like it does now.
Using the Superchips module doesn't "flash" the PCM. It just overwrites certain lines of operating code. A flashed PCM is a completely different animal.

Well I took the beast out for a good run today and it only took 3 hours to get all the crud off it.
Tomorrow is change all the fluids day again and possibly the valve cover gasket and the rubber grommets up top. Other than that I have a feeling it's going to be a very slow day. Bought some Jeep bling yesterday too, have to keep baby happy. :)
Got a 48" Hi-Lift Extreme on sale for 75.00 at Princess Auto in Edmonton. Looks so nice I don't want to get it dirty.

ooooh! i was looking at getting one for $90 at cdn tire...

i took mine out for a fun ride, only made it half way up the trail and with my lousy street tires, and it raining all night left me backing out, getting her stuck off the trail and having to get out and push her around to get unstuck, but turned around and made my way back out haha...

made 4 attempts to climb the hill after that but ended up bringing her back home...
good times

today is going in the garage to pop out a dent in my back bumper... and take a look at mr.transmission and see if i can get that leak to quit...

im all down for fun in the mud :) but it sound to me like ur jeeps are hurtin :( dont u think? i mean no offence to any of youall. but the more you "put it to work" the more garage days ur gonna have. but if u do ur own wrench work or have doe to blow have fun and POST PICS!!! also‚ id like some help in regards to muffler and catless catback options, only 2 things to consider; 1 i dont wanna pay more than $200 and 2 i dont want more sound i dont wanna sound like a 60s muscle car. i have a mig and can get pipe just cant bend it. im not scared of emissions im in a province without those tests and i dont really think my 4.7 is gonna melt the glaciers. i will need inlet and outlet pipe sizes and pipe width. thanx

i've been through a similar thing with my rear end squeaking before twice after trailing, and it drove me nutz for like 2 weeks when i was about to change the bearings i thought to do the half a$$3d thing and rebent my rear brake springs and poof no more squeak. im not saying thats ur problem but its so easy to try, i didnt even need to remove the wheel.

Unfortunately mine is/ was a wheel bearing, the garage I had put it in buggered it and it's now replaced. Just something else that I was to busy to do so I let someone else do it. Not happening anymore.

For the 4.7 you should go for a 3" pipe if you want it to flow well. If your going to enlarge the pipe there really isn't an option for that 60's muscle car sound it's going to happen. One other solution but much more work is to run a dual exhaust on the stock size and you won't have the noise. It will ease the back pressure but not as much as running a larger pipe would.

see i look at my jeep a different way you do (i was thinking of making mine a street jeep, and swaping a 4.0 for a 6.1L from a wrecked superbee, and having a SRT WJ haha) but too huge of a project way too much to swap and too much money to make a fast WJ...

granted its all in good fun, so is trail riding

i dont so much as take my jeep out to big mud puddles and pass thru 20 times like some people do... its merely to see if i can get farther down the trail, as my area provides pleanty of it (i love living on North Shore NB) but as far as it goes it gets to a point where you cant go further, you gotta bring her home, and swap something out so you can make it just that much further... this takes everything time, money, facility and tools lol... if ya gottem why not!

and thats probably why im getting stuck on this hill lol... baby needs new shoes!!! lol

and as for the bumper, well i want steel ones so this sorta thing doesnt happen again

If you were to buy my Jeep you would be getting one of the best maintained vehicles around, I'm **** about maintanence so I don't wait for something to break I'll just go replace it before it does. a few bucks here and a few there ------s it over the year instead of taking it somewhere and they tell you that it's going to cost 5000.00 to fix. Anyway's wheelin' and wrenchin' is a hobby so my Jeep keeps me happy.
