What Did You Do To Your GC Today

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
this came in today... woo!
This spacer is actually for a 03-07 Dodge Dakota/Durango... doesn't list any Jeep compatiblity but it is the same motor...
Cost was $57 with $16 shipping... compare that to a Airaid spacer which starts at $160... i'll take the chance with this one... especially for the cost and the design is very similar to the Airaid spacer... so it should be similar performance results... If any...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Got my steering wheel control adapter installed, so glad to have those back up and running... also ran the wire back for my reverse camera, im going to test some locations, i might install it inside the Jeep so i dont have to constantly clean the camera...
I think i broke my CB Antenna on the first friggin tree that i made contact with... i've heard fiberglass antennas were finicky... but seriously, one hit... WOW... got to test it all and see whats what...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Had a spring on it...
So im trying to install my throttle body spacer (OMG my intake manifold is some filthy!!)
and the problem I've run into is spacing the throttle/kickdown cables... the kit comes with spacers for a bracket mounted where the dipstick tube... my manifold does not have such a bracket... its molded to the intake itself... so spacing it is going to be quite an issue...
Forgot to send, but i figured it out
i actually checked instructions for the right motor LOL
initial test... actually seems to be a bit more torquey at low revs on the butt dyno... i was used to the superchips tune, and it seems theres a bit more there now... high revs dont seem to make much of a difference... but for $65 i feel a heck of alot more comfortable as i know their game with HP numbers and mpg and putting on a high price tag...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
So this is how my entertainment is setup in the Jeep... Sirius Radio cant integrate with the headunit... which is annoying... but navigation is up there
Also made a little bit more room under my seat for the much larger amp i have... still have to wire the rest of it...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
So i got the lift installed, so i figured all my noise was coming from my rear lower control arm, but it ends up both of my upper A arm bushings are worn out aswell... now its to see if can get just the bushings and get them pressed in or not... or getting the entire arm...
It looks so funny with the stock sized tires on there...
i couldn't get the lower bolt out of the track bar... worried about separating the bushing from sleve so im just going to leave it for now and get a new adjustable IRO track bar on its way here...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
put a ZJ jug in the WJ... have the purge solenoid relocated against the firewall next to the booster, new Evap hoses since mine were pretty cracked up...
also making disconnects for the back seats, and trimming up some of my fenders... also put in 9005 fog light bulbs
also doing a coolant swap since who ever owned it before me had installed the wrong coolant...
