Approximately 8/26/03 20:08, Richard Harris uttered for posterity:

We'll still fly our flag high and proud.
Maybe we can have a mosquito competition, 'fraid we'd lose tho. Or how
about a low temp competition, naw, they can have that one too.

Alaska has black flies. And moose flies. And tundra flies. And
deer flies. And ... well you get the picture. Texas wins the
mosquito contest for variety of species, aggression, and size.
In Texas, every Interstate must have 1 mile of straight stretch
every 100 miles so the local mosquitos can use it as emergency
landing zones. And someday am gonna make it down to Big Bend
for a tour.

That's why some folks chain their dogs, not to protect you, but to keep
the COASTAL mesquitos from carrying them off. Inland is vastly different
in terms of mesquito populations.

Not so, only the COASTAL interstates.

Make that the Big Bend area. There is lots more than just the National
Park (which is nice, even has some offroad driving)

Only if your windshield wipers and washer don't work up to Texas
standards... I take it that you don't have the 5 hp windshield wiper motors
in your Jeep? What about the swimming pool pumps as replacements for the
washer motors?
