Now I know what everyone is thinking: How can someone "flee with" or
"recover" LAND?
Saw a TV show where the cops were called to the home of a distraught owner.
When they arrived, the homeowner was standing in the front yard, in a suit
and tie, beating his large dirt yard with a shovel.
Turned out he spent $5,000 over the weekend sodding his yard. While he was
away at work on Monday, someone came by and loaded up all the grass.
Cops put out a broadcast for "Grand Theft - Real Estate!"
It spite of hilarous TV, that's not what the Texas statute is designed to
cover. The Texas law was created to handle arson of something other than a
building: crops and forests.

WRONG... Texas law can basically be summed up with the following statement:
"Don't ---- with Texas"
We do not live in a socialistic state like Kalifornia... You don't know our
laws, so why don't you just shut up while your not so far behind...

in

<snipped-a-bunch-of-unimportant-Kalifornia----->
And what drugs are you doing that makes you think that Texas would have the
same laws as Kalifornia? Get real... If they try breaking into your vehicle
in Texas, deadly force is authorized... I have a CHL and this part of the
law if well explained in the course...

Actually, you don't need a permit... You only need a permit to carry a
handgun concealed... If you just happen to have a shotgun or rifle with you
at the time, you can use it... If you are on your own property, you don't
need a permit (i.e. CHL) for a handgun... In most cases, the cops won't
charge you with not having a CHL if you do use a handgun in a situation in
which deadly force is authorized...

Re: Jeep Booby Traps Help
Actually, I had a cop in Plano, Texas tell me the same thing. He said if
you shoot someone climbing in the window, go outside and push him the
rest of the way in.

Re: Jeep Booby Traps Help
I plan on shooting them again, a grazing shot so as to splatter the
wall.
