Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
What a lovely weekend, need to fix a couple of electrical glitches on the ZJ and it's raining and calling for snow tonight and tomorrow. Time to go dig out a tarp I guess. :)
Oh the joys of owning Jeeps!

thats rough, its really nice in my neck of the woods :-P
just gave the mutt a bath as well as the jeep...
the good news is i've got the tranny in operating and not leaking...
i havn't put it thru its paces on the trail to see if the JB weld is going to hold up to that ridiculous abuse..
did you ever get a hold of the guys at KOR and see about the new skid support? im thinking if i fabricate something i can probably prevent it from failing any time soon...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Tried calling but only got the answering machine, the guys are probably out in the rocks again for the weekend "testing prototypes".
I'm thinking of just going and renting a welder and a cutting torch for a week, I've got a full sheet of 1/2" and 2 sheets of 1/4" at the shop that are just dying to be turned into something...
And I still hate electrical and I really hate snow!
Hopefully that JB is going to hold together for you until you can get something else in there.

Won a detailing package at a fundraiser for cancer research tonight...better hit the mud puddles and make it worth it!!
I'm sure they'll be excited to see me and my bush-scratched, crud encrusted vehicle roll into the detail shop...

I can just imagine the look on the poor guys face. Ask them to see if they can get rid of the high water mark on the interior.
The fun you could have with this.

hahaha!
you should see the amount of NB soil that ended up in North Carolina, i've got a nice pile building from the tranny support, and gas tank skid, almost enough to fill a small sandbox lol
is it sad that i'm keeping it?
today i finally got off of the jackstands... i reassembled everything cause im sick of not driving my jeep.
omg, i've got to go kill my dog, he hasn't stopped barking for 10 minutes now!
but yea, the nonsense of driving a car was getting to me, feeling like EVERYONE was going to crush me, so not cool...
so i set the jeep down on the ground and i got scared... its soo low!
i've had it up on jackstands, where it would be with about a 6" lift... and i sorta got used to that... SIGH... it'll be a while, maybe in the new year...
in other news i found the way to make your seats feel BRAND NEW...
drive around two 380lbs persons car for a few weeks, and wash your jeeps seats... they'll feel nice and firm, brand spanking new.
