You know, I never saw anything that would have heated the cracker,
it was of my job to haul the hazardous wastes (heavy ends) which came
out the bottom of course, while the refineries were down for cleaning
and transported it to our national underground cavern storage reserves.
Our government released some of that last month, are we in for a
surprise. I can tell you the control room looks like a spaceship with
all the bells and whistles: http://www.----------.com/kenworth.jpg

So you never actually were there when the cracking towers were in operation.
Got it.

You bet I was, but not beside the cracker, where I could look
inside. other jobs were inside a mazes of pipes getting to one of
refineries other storage areas. I usually had to drive around one that
had just blown up, killing many so I watched the blue light, which also
meant cyanide. It was against the law to take a camera in there as with
most factories.

Eggshually you have to achieve temperatures higher than the sun's
corona...and that corona is several times higher than the temperature of
the sun itself. The sun is just a big hydrogen bomb that hasn't run out
of fuel but the fusion is only way down in the innards where the
pressure is enough to keep fusion going. To do fusion without that type
of pressure [that would require a solid unobtanium containment] you need
temperatures that make the sun look like an alaskan winter
L.W.(Bill) ------ III proclaimed:
