I have a front mounted winch on my Jeep. If I can't pull myself forward, I
have a friend pull me out with my tow hook in the rear. I commute often in
my Wrangler. 100lbs is less than a typically passenger.
I'm just saying that a receiver winch can be really hard to use when you
need it.

my Wrangler. 100lbs is less than a typically passenger.
I'm just saying that a receiver winch can be really hard to use when you

I knew there would be concessions.
The disconnects, do you just disconnect and leave it that way or only when
you are off road. This is a whole new thing to me

I knew there would be concessions.
The disconnects, do you just disconnect and leave it that way or only when
you are off road. This is a whole new thing to me

The disconnects, do you just disconnect and leave it that way or only when
you are off road. This is a whole new thing to me

With the near zero storage and cargo room on these vehicles AND my personal
---- retentive nature when it comes to aesthetics I believe that when I get
a winch, it will be permanently mounted on the front as on my first CJ.
What's new with winches?
The photo of the new CJ that was posted yesterday has a nice looking setup
on the front. The rest of the poor thing has been -- err -- ruined (new to
the group, so watching my potty mouth) though.

With the near zero storage and cargo room on these vehicles AND my personal
---- retentive nature when it comes to aesthetics I believe that when I get
a winch, it will be permanently mounted on the front as on my first CJ.
What's new with winches?
The photo of the new CJ that was posted yesterday has a nice looking setup
on the front. The rest of the poor thing has been -- err -- ruined (new to
the group, so watching my potty mouth) though.
