I'm with Jerry on this one - my stabiliser leaked out it's oil ages ago and
it made no difference....

Yes, Daimler engineers are stupid for wasting money putting a
dampener on every four wheel drive with a live axle.

You think you are "educating" the group? -------- and how egotistical
of you to say that. Half the stuff you say here is just plain wrong,
you think you know more than you do. It's laughable how sometimes it's
just so impossible to explain something to you. Bill, your lack of
education on many of the subjects here is very apparent but you insist
on bluffing, huffing and puffing, and bullying tactics to convince the
newbies you know what you're saying. Having run a gas station many
years ago makes you qualified to be an expert on nothing except perhaps
how to run a gas station.. which even towel heads that barely speak
English seem to do just fine at as well.

Re: bouncy front end
Ditto here. Mine's been gone for a few years now and never noticed it's
lack. Seem's to me one of the monthlies I was just reading touched on this
subject. Basically if you need a "stabilizer" (IIRC, they said this was a
misnomer), you've got problems elsewhere. It was explained that
stabilizers were never designed to eliminate wobble, shimmy, or anything of
the such. They were there to absorb shock to the steering system and
thereby reduce it's wear and tear. Something along those lines. I'll see
if I can dig up the reference. I completely expect Mr. Bill (Oh noooo!!!!)
to try to twist it around SOME way to make him and only him the correct
party here.
