sounds good to me. Try rocking it when you have it parked, see how
long it takes to stop rocking. If it's more than about a tenth of a
second, they're shot.

A new steering stabilizer shock absorber will stop the shimmy:

Hi Bill,
I think I need a front end alignment, as I tend to squeal the tires
while doing slow speed turns. Tire pressure is ok. Gonna replace the
shocks and get a front end alignment done.
