Or just cut the fenders like mine and run 33's on the 3.5" Rubicon
Express lift.
Lots of clearance, and if done with care it's hard to tell it didn't
come from the factory that way:
most recent shot

close shot, also notice the cowl induction hood, I did a write up for
the hood build (it's home brew) which is on naxja.com forums. The cut at
the fender is clean enough that many people don't even notice it doesn't
have fender flares.
http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?i...decloseul3.jpg
longer view a while back before I did the hood and blacked out the red
stripe, added new style emblems etc. my other favorite toy is in the BG.
write ups for fender triming (and/or major surgery) are all over the
naxja forums
http://img177.imageshack.us/my.php?i...tiblingwo4.jpg
BTW This is my 94 with 4.6 stoker, RE 3.5" lift, home brew cold air/Cowl
induction intake, 4.56 gears, front Detroit true trac, rear 8.25 axle
with upgraded factory LSD. ZJ disk brake conversion (front and rear
disks) and a hundred other oddball custom bits.

Re: 87 YJ magically turned into a '92 XJ
You are going with a shackle lift on a YJ????
Man dealing with all those shims to attempt to have any hope of a front
end alignment isn't my idea of fun....
You should get new spring u-bolts also because the old ones have likely
stretched too much already to ever stay tight again. You will need
these for the shims.
