Actually still looking for the source, found the darned neoprene mounts on the Ranchos were loose *again*. Exhaust pipe has no new shinys. Very mild clunking sound on heavy bumps. Still, prefer the higher ground clearance of the ZJ over the latest models, never did like the WJ--it always looked like someone overinflated a ZJ. |

You do get clunks especially if the drive shafts need lubed or the track bar bushings are shot. > Actually still looking for the source, found the darned neoprene > mounts on the Ranchos were loose *again*. The only thing I was tempted to do was to swap out for a 95 with the rear flipper glass and 4 wheel disc brakes. That and the 5.9 V8 :) Every once in a while you can find them for a reasonable price. -- DougW |

The track bar bushings LOOK ok, but they are as far as I know the originals. The front ones were all just replaced, probably shoulda done the rears. > >> Actually still looking for the source, found the darned neoprene >> mounts on the Ranchos were loose *again*. Lubing the drive shafts will presume requires opening it up? not axle shaft, drive shaft. :) There shoud be a zerk where the slip joint is. > The track bar bushings LOOK ok, but they are as far as I know the > originals. I had a pop on the front that turned out to be a "somewhat loose" lower track arm bolt. Silly thing looked ok but needed to be retorqued to 130 ft lbs. -- DougW |

Wonder if it would and if so, how much? What's the mileage rating below "abysmal"? The 4 wheel disks are nice, I'm not sure the flipper glass would be used much. I would like the later seats, I think the '95 has the lumbar adjustment and, if so, that would be very nice. However, all in all, I think my best move is to keep my '93 until it hits 100,000 miles and that's years away since I don't drive it much now. -- XS11E, Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://improve-usenet.org |

I think I've used mine about three times.
