Re: "Original Miles"
I'm not really worried about me Bill. I do my homework and know things to
look for. I guess it just bothers me when I see an obvious mis-representation. I feel bad when someone buys it, and believes it, let alone pays a little extra for it. I guess "a fool and his money" huh? I saw an ad for an "Original Renegade I with 50,000 original miles" last year at a car lot, and neither of those statements ended up being true. I was just mad that I wasted my afternoon to drive out to look at it. "L.W. (ßill) ------ III" <----------@cox.net> wrote in message news:40AD0E2B.E49B7D28@cox.net... > So what? Then you would have enjoyed the television calibration of the life
of the Sixty Minutes producer the other night, as one of the reflections of the TV magazine put a likable used car salesman away for ten years for rolling back the odometers. Re: "Original Miles"
If you are buying anything more than 10 years old, you should not give a
crap about the mileage anyway. You should go into any purchase of a vehicle that old with the notion that you will need to be doing repairs or a rebuild. Re: "Original Miles"
I don't agree with that, at all.
