I'm not really worried about me Bill. I do my homework and know things to
look for. I guess it just bothers me when I see an obvious
mis-representation. I feel bad when someone buys it, and believes it, let
alone pays a little extra for it. I guess "a fool and his money" huh?

I saw an ad for an "Original Renegade I with 50,000 original miles" last
year at a car lot, and neither of those statements ended up being true. I
was just mad that I wasted my afternoon to drive out to look at it.

Then you would have enjoyed the television calibration of the life
of the Sixty Minutes producer the other night, as one of the reflections
of the TV magazine put a likable used car salesman away for ten years
for rolling back the odometers.

If you are buying anything more than 10 years old, you should not give a
crap about the mileage anyway. You should go into any purchase of a vehicle
that old with the notion that you will need to be doing repairs or a
rebuild.
