Jeep TJ: Power Windows..didn't someone say you couldn't do this??

I don't think it's creature comforts killing Jeep, it's design decisions
contrary to the ideal that existed when "Jeep" meant something different
than it does today. Like someone else mentioned, you can defrost the rear
window on a hardtop, but you can still remove said hardtop... The same thing
could be done with doors to facilitate power windows and locks and a Jeep
would still be a Jeep.
Power options (including seats if they ever decide to put those in) don't
make it less of an off-road machine. They just make it a more comfortable
off-road machine. Now when they start changing the suspension, I'll take
issue with that. I don't think that the changes in options are leading to
the downfall of the SWB jeep as we know it.
