I don't see how you could have room to cut a bigger "C" clip into
these little spiders: http://----------.com/dana35c/dana35cclip.jpg This
site mentions a machined carrier to except the larger axles, and that
the carrier became too weak:

Re: Jeep TJ - Does anyone know where i can find 30 spline axle shafts for d35c?

Yukon sells a set of "heavy duty" 27 spline axle shafts for $279 a
pair.

http://www.4x4rockshop.com/scripts/p...idproduct=2047

They have a 5 year warranty and are supposedly stronger than OEM
stock. would these work better than the stock shafts? I was figuring
i might run these if they are stronger than stock and use the stock
shafts as my spares. Money is tight, so an arb or ox locker is out of
the question. A detroit wouldnt work with my daily driver, and i
believe i can install the powertrax no-slip locker myself.

And they're worthless as an upgrade... which would also contribute to a
false sense of increased strength and security.
