Maybe he couldn't guess because you put the wrong letters in? What does
AMWA have to do with Arctic National Wildlife Refuge?

I'll bet there are back roads you could take to cover that 20 miles.
Besides, 20 miles isn't all that far on a bike. Once you get in shape you
should be able to cover it in a little over an hour...
Another idea... move closer to work?
Nah! That would be unAmerican

Sure, and then it woud be closer to 30 miles than 20.

Get real. Ride a bike 60 miles a day round trip to work every day?
You're not very bright, are you?

Hahahaha! You ain't from around here.

No, that would be stupid. You are obviously totally unfamiliar with
this area and a little thing we like to call "the real world." I
drive an economy car to work that gets about 35 mpg so it costs me
barely over $2 a day in gas to do the round trip. You know how stupid
it sounds when you say I should just pack up and move closer to work
to a house that costs 30-40% more than the one I have for the same
square footage just so I could ride a bike to work? Let me give you a
clue. It sounds VERY stupid. Because it IS. Don't call me
un-American because I drive to work, tree-hugger. I'm glad I could
clear that up for you.

Less drivel, more Dremel.
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite,
and furthermore always carry a small snake.
