My question is, what would the price of gas have to be before
alternative (renewable) fuels became viable in the market? Obviously,
the high taxes in UK aren't enough to get alternative fuel going (unless
there are other factors over there, wacky Brits). I'd love to burn
alcohol, or switch to pure electric vehicle (need more nuke plants on
the grid), but gas is just so darn cheap in comparison.
Remember, if you think gas is expensive in North America now, just wait
'til Mexico & Venezuela run out.
