Just so you know, the reverse 44 isn't a trick new thing like the
reverse 9" (8.8), it's stock on my '78 Bronco:

I know, I was referring to the D60 in the rear. Tera and Dynatrac both came
out with custom high clearance, reverse center sections about 6 months after
I got these installed.

It came stock with a front reverse cut 30, but no CV style driveshaft.

Indeed. I still can't figure why DC installed a low pinion D30 in the TJ
after they'd established high pinion versions before in the YJ and XJ. Cost?

What they *really* needed was a high pinion in the rear! That would have
made small to moderate lifts a *whole* lot easier and cheaper!
