Well quite. I would have thought that a defence of "Californians knew about
their pollution levels, but wilfully drove too many miles" would also do it.

Well quite. I would have thought that a defence of "Californians knew about
their pollution levels, but wilfully drove too many miles" would also do it.

Dave, you're making the dangerous assumption that the American civil legal
system works for the good of the people, it actually works for the good of
