I bet he's running for governor.
Seems to me the auto makers have a great defense. Kalifornia sets it's own emission standards, the automakers met the standards set by the state. If Kalifornia doesn't like the standard they should go sue themselves. This has got to be about an Attorney General looking to make headlines (and probably running for governor). OK I checked, the moron behind this is the California AG Bill Lockyer, a
lawyer and life long politician who has apparently never had a real job in his life. (His whole career has been in "public service"). I don't know if the California AG is term limited or not but he is at the end of his second term as AG and is now running for state Treasurer. He seems like exactly the kind of professional politican we DON'T need, of whatever party.
