Super Bee, little????
I think maybe you mean the 1968 Dart and Barracudas that Chrysler built for
Super Stock drag racing. These cars still dominate the SS/A and SS/AA NHRA
classes.

These cars were almost 1000 pounds lighter than a Super Bee, and were the
only ones ever available from the factory with the true high compression
race Hemi with made well over 500HP right from Chrysler.

A VIN of it's day surely would for insurance reasons. The only code
I have shows a "P" for a 360" 4 Bbl. in a '72 - '78 CJ-5

Re: Availability of a 360 in a Jeep CJ
Beautiful Bill, there you go, you got it for them.
If his VIN has a P at number 7 spot, it was a factory 360.
But that also says the 360 was available in a bunch of different years.

Re: Availability of a 360 in a Jeep CJ
That could be true. I thought the V8 was stopped in '79 for all CJs, but it
may have been stopped only in the CJ5. I still do not think my '81 FSM lists
the V8 in the CJ models.
