That could be true. I thought the V8 was stopped in '79 for all CJs, but it
may have been stopped only in the CJ5. I still do not think my '81 FSM lists
the V8 in the CJ models.

I also noticed, though, that the I6 258 Hp rating went _up_, from 100 to
115 around 1982. What did they do different?
