The d44 doesn't change the wheelbase. The limit here is 2000# if I remember
correctly.

But there in Europe they tow travel trailers with what we would consider
lawnmower engine powered micro-cars...

Ya know.... there has to be more to that because the new 4 door unlimited is
longer and heavier than my Grand Cherokee but the tow limit is only 3500#
