120:1, christ at that ratio if you put the jeep in 1st and 4lo you'd have time to get out, chop up some firewood, make lunch and then walk over and get back in. What do you want to do clear land with it? :)

pretty much!

this is when the jeep is sitting with around 8.5" of lift and 37's under it (yea new shock tower braces and fenders, and probably a custom lever rear suspension system
When i retire it from a Daily Driver, Im just going purely silly with this thing...

70mph would be @ 2496rpm which really wouldn't be too bad...

If I wanted to get a retarded crawler i could put in a Klune V... and drop another 2.72:1, and 4:1 in the rocktrac...

202.82:1

Id probably get a Klune before alot of the bits since its a huge increase in crawl ratio, say when im at 35's with 4.10 gears NV3550 with the 242... it would be 89.27:1

thanks guys!
I think these tires were a better choice over the Firestones! No lift going on here. I do too much driving for work and my real disease is softball bats and softball equipment.

got the jeep inspected today, man what a con that is, every shop charges the maximum even though the minimum is $6.45 they mark it to the max wont cut anyone a deal (even though i was going to bring it in for an alignment... i hate that about here

i'll take my business elsewhere nextime...

in other news i found a Yellow YJ in EXCELLENT shape, minus the engine cause it was blown up for stupid *** cash for clunkers... $800... its yellow, with black line-x interior, soft top, leaf over axle with 35's that still have some tread...

ohh how id love to give it a new home...

The YJ would be nice.

Well after 4 of the most frustrating hours that I can remember in a loooong time the bumper is one the WJ. I smiled, swore, called it names, made fun of it's lineage and then started all over again. After looking at it and telling it and myself that if it didn't fit this last time into the dumpster it was going and Voila!! popped right into place and fits great.
When they say these things fit tight they're not joking, and they have to be lined up just perfectly. Very, very frustrating.
But on the same token it looks damn nice on there! Pics of bumper and winch after Christmas.

Right on dan! i bet it looks good with the black jeep... what i hate is that its chaos shopping around this time of year, even at Lowes there is materials i need to finish up a couple jeep projects i have in mind and am just procrastinating (the side cladding swap)

The owner of the local 4x4 shop was asking me about my bumper mod he figured it was pretty crafty how it worked out well, and didn't look so bad (although the lower rad support is driving me nuts) he was just like have you had to use it, i told him how i was back home and showed him the pic of me rubbing it up on the tree, he was just like yea, few people are doing that with their WJ's though, but if they start coming in more and more, i might have some work for you to do.

Those look great on there Fireman!

Mike, haven't forgotten you, took some time off and will try to get the templates made for you in the next week or so. I've got to pull it all off to do some tweaking and drill the 2 front holes so I can put the front skid back on as well as mount the winch now that I'm back to work.
The holes that are pre drilled fit if there's never been any damage on the front end. Having had a slight (and I do mean slight) ding in the front drivers side bumper where the unibody joins the bumper,
had to use a 1 1/2 ton come a long and the giant garberator to pull the frame arms together to get the holes lined up for the bottom winch plate bolts. What a pain in the .......! Like the lights but don't like the fact that there's no adjustment at all.
Even with all the hassle I think it looks great, the gf however thinks it now looks like a redneck wagon. Sometimes a guy just can't win.
