Yeah what im thinking, upgrade it since i make ridiculous intercontinental trips on the highway and add disco's to let it swing like crazy when i hit the trail...

i just never noticed just how thin it was, i mean thats got to be able to flex however it wants in a turn... so i know upgrading it is going to make a huge difference (cause i can usually feel the back end swaying around since theres all the extra weight back there)

and if i end up in another accident that isn't my fault, i'm liable to go crazy and park the jeep on-top of their car, wether their inside the car or not.

one thing i can say about the Jeep, i didn't feel anything!

Lots of articulation out of the back with the a-arm and it's easy enough to make up a set of extended end links when you lift it.
Don't remove the bar. As small as it is it does do it's job at stock height reasonaby well. An Addco would definatly make a huge differance in cornering and offroad manners.

switches... now i guess i just have to add some stuff to control

Both of the outside switches are going to control the Lights, Low Fogs on the driver, Roof Lights on the Passenger... my GPS is the first switch, and my power little 250W power inverter by the second, the other two are free... My Air Compressor is still controlled by the A/C switch, but new wiring of-course...

Looks good!

I should do that one of these days. I don't use the ashtray anyway, and it never stays closed...

Looks good Mike, Saw a pic once of someone doing the same thing but inside the ashtray. Open the ashtray and there's the switches.
There's not to much that really fits in there so it is a bit useless.
Put the first 3 coats of paint on the bumper, will wet sand tomorrow and then paint again. If it stays slow at work I might end up with it and the winch mounted up by the time I leave to go home on Thursday.

yep im putting in one of those fused 12v power distribution blocks with like 4 lugs on it for addons behind the panel, (fuse at the battery, and on the input of the block for safety)

this way i can run out of here to a big power inverter, might put dedicated amplifers in to drive my speakers if i dont get a powerful head-unit (i've got great 4 way speakers in the doors... being wasted on stock amplification) and just run some some lights. and other nonsense...

So dan did ya ever make that template? i've tracked down what im sure is enough material to make this thing happen

well I did it last night!
T-boned a silly Neon!!! I'm in the center turning lane when some yahoo decides to jump out of the center lane (cause he did not want to wait for traffic) and make almost a u-turn! did not look out his side mirror! I caved in his driver's rear door! all I got was a 1" tear on my bumper just below the passenger headlight assy. What really would of got me made was I just chaged the bulb in that assy the day before too! if it would of burnt out! he said sorry and said his fault. He had the more damage as I did not se the tear till this morning after I washed her. we went our own ways.

Hopefully no structural damage underneath the bumper. All the body seams still line up and nothing seems to be out of line?
Gotta love some drivers out there. I'm probably going to get flamed for this but I've found that the worst drivers are in little tiny cars or great big trucks.
