I see snow flakes...
it was freezing rain for the first half hour, and now we've got some huge snowflakes coming down... hopefully it snows ALL night and i dont have to work in the AM...
18 hours from Home, still get the stuff...

Looks really good Fireman, hope you get lots of use out of it. Is that a factory steering stabalizer your running?
Mike, I like winter to. The problem is that at -50 it's to cold to snow. There's more snow south of McMurray than there is up here.
Hope you get all the snow you want + a foot extra :)
When I was working up in Kitimat it dumped 14 FEET of snow in a little over 9 hours. Absolutely retarded weather.

From what i've figured out is most of the Death Wobble is usually problems with worn UCA's changing the caster angle during articulation, and is causing the wobble though not 100%
with your IRO kit the UCA's are welded to the LCA's and you can adjust caster, meaning you can set it up lock it in and its going to travel with the suspension proper... (the more pivot points the more the control arms have to flex and cause the undesired wobble)
Id definitely replace it when you get the new tires, dont want to wear the stocker out
the snow decided to stop, its hanging out about a hour away... but we have the advisory till 7pm tomorrow night... so fingers crossed for that 1ft extra!

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Another one of the many causes is the track bar bushings being to soft or worn since it gives the axle room to move side to side.
Once the shocks wear in a bit the ride shouldn't be very harsh at all. Most people that I know who have done the IRO kits say after a couple days it actually rides better than stock.
You can keep your snow, I'd prefer to drive to go see it. Then when I'm done I can go home.
Rockies + Snow + Idiot Drivers = overdeveloped schfincter muscles. :p

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Just got my catalog from Advanced Adapters today (emailed them Tuesday) and i've got to say this is a well put together catalog with a TON of information in it, already giving me dimensions on the NV3550, and distance to the shifter location, and bell housing compatibilities, and all necessary part numbers for a complete Install...
Just have to look into it abit more and i'll know what im getting myself into...
