Well there's an early christmas present for you!
In a few months the trails will be open again and you can really test those tires out.

Mike going to make up the template tomorrow. Will send you a PM later tonight.

Right on Dan! im looking forward to it

Sucks Birdman, glad nothing happened... and i've got to agree with you dan, small cars sometimes think their in the fast and the furious, the others just are distracted on their cellphone or just typically bad drivers.

My WJ got rearended by a Honda Accord and all i got was a little 2" long V crack in the bumper, the civic got a split radiator and both headlights popped... I Love My Jeep...

Still i honestly rather it be my fault ya know, just so i can say yeah i did that to my jeep thats why its like that... sigh...

im right in the christmas spirit, im out still trying to patch up that tranny in shorts and t-shirts... no its not in the garage, not even the car port... its 13C... beginning to feel alot like christmas my ***....

I'll trade you, we're heading down to -53 with the windchill again tonight. At least we haven't got a pile of snow in McMurray though. Lots of snow in the Pass and just as cold.

new rubber on the girl looks great! adds some serious attitude now! I'll get a pic up soon!
Tires hook up great in the slippery stuff that landed yesterday! I tred to get it to slide around and these bad boys would not break loose!

I run the Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow in the winter (265/65-17) and I've never had a problem with them. They stick so well that you feel like youcould drive up the side of a building. Been running them for 3 years now and am as impressed now as when I first put them on.

I honestly don't think I would waste $ on actual winter tires. Espicially with 4wd or Awd. Plus that those tires are just sooooo soft if there is no ice or snow on the roads they wear faster no?

It's all in the location I guess, I've got 250kms in between McMurray and the next gas station so I make sure I do everything that will help get me there. 4wd and AWD are only as good as the tires on the vehicle.
The Pirelli's are actually rated to run all year if you want but I save them for the winter which doesn't mean much here. There may be 3' of snow in McMurray but Crowsnest (1000km away) is having a chinook and there's no snow at all.

HAHA it might be my lucky weekend, we have a winter storm advisory going on, forecasting a few inches of snow... friday-saturday (and ive got to work early saturday)

Im sooo going to be playing in the snow if it actually sticks to the ground for more than a few minutes...
