Now theres a question I've never seen before, I believe you could disable the system by disconnecitng the sensor behind the grill but I don't know how you could disconnect it without setting the darned system off.

...i'm thinking more along the lines of a keyed switch like the ones they have in some trucks to turn off passenger side airbag... if they can do it for that one, it should be doable for both airbags...with a little ingenuity, i'm sure...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
Installed my replacement lens's (mostly because i like having awesome light output and spent $140 on new highbeam and lowbeam Sylvania ZXE bulbs, so why not new housings)
now i have to source better fog lights, might have to drill them out to fit 9005 bulbs and put some not so expensive ones in... but try and get the colour to match...
I also got my rear wiper motor to work for free... just had to disassemble clean and grease, and reassemble and its working like a champion... i did have to unsolder the motor, thats the trickiest bit, if you dont have a soldering iron... but it saved a couple hundred bucks so no big deal!
i have a steering stablizer to put on aswell... but am procrastinating just a little... still drives fine...
Not bad for $3000 eh?... (the exterior window seals are rusted bad, replacements are on the way)

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today
in the last week or so i have put in a replacement front prop shaft, installed the tranny mount mentioned above, a new driver's front wheel bearing, and some new bulbs on the back end... friday afternoon i go in to have my ebrake fixed. needed the mechanisms inside the drum and the only place to get them is the dealer for $45/ea. figures they would be the only thing that didn't come with the typical rebuild kit, lol.
