Well a flurry of activity today on the Brute........

86tincan and Toy Jeep tackled the brake lines and new Hi volume steering pump and did a great job of it....as usual!!!

Mostly today was finishing a couple small welding jobs and squaring up the suspension t2c1, CrazyYj and myself hammered away on that task for the most part and Toy Jeep jumped in to lend a hand adjusting front pinion angles and track bar.........which we had to end up lengthening at the end of the day!!

t2c1 and I managed to bolt up the drive shafts and took the Brute out of the shop under her own power at about 10pm.....ripped her up the driveway and back......pulled it back in the shop and gave the brakes a quick bleed...probably a little air left in the brakes but we will let it settle and power bleed them on Monday.

Not too much for pics today....really not much exciting happened in the shop for the most part it was little finishing touches and adjustments...you know the tedious and time consuming things that just need done. So pics will come after she puts the rubber to the road in daylight....

Thanx so much for the help today t2c1, Toy Jeep, 86tincan and CrazyYj..........

Couldn't have as much fun with the build nor get as much done as we do if you guyz weren't there helping as much as you do!!!

Well in the art of Bear cannot leave things alone the Brute is under revision yet again!!
She is getting the all new Bear TraX 4x4 7075 T651 aluminum 3 link in the front and triangulated 4 link rear along with aluminum track bar/tie rod/drag link. This will be dampened with 14 inch King coil overs and hydraulic bumps in the front.
We have also taken the opportunity to relocate the battery out of the engine bay, strip off the Volant snorkel and replace it with a cowl intake(in the wiper cowl), swap the StaK 3 speed t-case out for an Atlas 2speed/NWT Black box combo......the 125 pound front bumper is also being replaced with a lighter and improved version.....a stubby/stinger grill guard combo. We are also flatening the belly and installing a T-6 bully up kit.......sheesh when am I going to learn to leave well enough alone!!

Here is a few of the pics of the arms...and....front coil overs

This Jeep disease is kinda like herpes, goes away for awhile and then you wake up one morning and it's broken out again...
I'm starting to see more lifted WJ's in McMurray and then I start looking and thinking and the next thing you know I've got one of the kids up for sale again...
