Re: New Diffs for the Brute
Thanx to t2c1,Tiesvn and Flying Fubbu we managed to make very short work of getting the tires mounted, beadlocked and balanced tonight.
I was dreading the internal beadlock install but quite honestly some good measurements, patience and lottsa talc powder she was a wiz bang event and the tires took less weight than my last ones to balance out.
The InnerAir Locks were a breeze to install and I cannot wait to air them shiny new Goodyear Wrangler MTR Kevlar’s down to 6 er 7 psi to see how they work.......judging by the really aggressive tread they will dig......hard!!
Thanx guys for the help and company tonight!!!!
Some pics
Marking the drill position
Drilling the new Beadlock valve stem hole
The newly place hole
A quick chamfer to get rid of any burrs
Talc powder is liberally applied to the inner casing and tube with a healthy dose of a Liberace impersonation.....to allow them to take position inside the tire with ease
Once the inner bead of the tire is installed we kept the tire reaied off the wheel with a strap to install the casing and tube
After the tubes are cycled a few times and have taken shape inside the outer bead is eased on, then tires are aired up, balanced and stacked up ready to bolt on and abuse!!!

Re: New Diffs for the Brute
This has my vote as the best build thread by far on JC!!
Man, when this beast is done, you better post up lots and lots of pictures of the finished product for everyone to drool over.
