If I remember correctly the axles are 65" wheel mount to wheel mount. The tires are going to fill out the tube flares nicely, before the flares were a little wide.

Here is a pic of the Brute behind my rig on our trailer on the way to the unveiling at the Rumble on the Rocks in Kelowna! Both rigs are pretty close too center of the trailer. The new diff's are a little wider yet!

You bet.......good ta see you made it here t2c1....

We ended up at about 65 5/8inch mark to allow the fenders to fill up a little and to eliviate the backspace issues associated with the 17 inch wheels(3.63 with the 15's and about 4.5 with the 17's). Of course a little more steering should be enjoyed from stepping the wms out a little further as well.....every little bit helps!!

Just playing with some numbers here and this is what I came up with without a measure stick in hand....these numbers are a best guess of side wall to side wall

78.43 over all width with stock Dana 44(on paper) with 38/15.50/15 tires
80.125 over all width with the new BT9XD set up(on paper) with 38/14.50/17 tires

we will see once she is bolted together though as to how close this guess is!!!

At least you guy's wern't going "you should see what it can do when the swaybar is disconnected"
The Brute looks great! Can't wait to see it in action, not that I'll be able to keep up with it offroad in my WJ.

LOL technically......the sway bar is still hooked up...dual rate air actuated unit from ORO..LOL

As far as you keepin up....Meh.....don't worry bout that man it is me that has to keep in pace with who ever comes out.....I am not that guy...you know....the one who only does the trails that rigs like his will do. I have just as much fun with any rig profile....just don't wanna be havin to break trail all the time thats all!!
