This probably wont make as much difference as you want, but a set of
turndowns on the ends of the mufflers will help some, and you won't lose any
ground clearance either.

I would go to a local muffler shop and have them make me tailpipes.
They could run along the frame and have the up loop to clear the rear
axle tucked in the wheel well.
I don't know about the laws where you are, but here, you are not allowed
to have an exhaust system exit under the passenger compartment or in
front of the rear wheel. The wheel will vortex the exhaust and you will
get fumes big time.

My muffler shop had his own bending machine, and he tucked my pipe between
the skid plate and the floor, inside the frame rails. He made some bends
that routed the pipe over the axle and out the back between the spring and
the gas tank.
