Doug what do you think now about your supercharger? Would you do it again?

Re: When will Jeep
Well, I don't know my HP, but my mileage is at 23 highway and 1st will
light up my 33" BFG muds way too easy, 2nd will top 52 mph or so turning
4400 rpm, 3rd pulls hard to 75 mph, 4th buries the speedometer and I
have no freakin urge to find out how fast 5th goes.... It will climb
sand pit walls in 3rd low, get too steep and it just digs holes, it
won't stall....
I have been thinking on modifying it or the one I have sitting in the
garage, but can't figure out why?

That should be in the range of a transplant from the Crossfire SRT6, or
if aftermarket is OK, a gift certificate from Hesco, Clifford, or JRE in
your stocking.

Right after they become aerodynamic, which means they look like a
Crossfire and are about as suitable for offroad.

Billy Ray did pass the time by typing:

:) and :)
Actually for the cost I would probably build a stroker first. Not that
you can't stroke the 4.0 to 4.7 and keep the blower.
My biggest problem is they stopped selling 93 octane fuel in this area.
There are only three stations and a couple of race-fuel vendors left.
All they have is 91 and I have to mix for 92 to avoid pinging at full
demand on the highway. (the price we pay for our toys)
The local hot-rodders have already zoned in on those stations and the
local station I use told me he has have never sold so much fuel in all
the days he's been operating and will probably be expanding the 93 to
a second pump.
Keep in mind that supercharging increases lower end power. That's fine
for getting on the highway or off-roading but not as good as turbos for
passing. At any rate, a Jeep isn't a race car. More power just means
you can get in trouble faster. :)
