I replaced my 220V with a 110V, two horse about ten years ago, and
really don't notice the difference:

I've found that I break fewer bolts on disassembly with my impact wrench
that I do with a breaker bar.
Of course I must admt that I don't put a 3' long slice of pipe on the
impact wrench, either....
