Not to bud in, but I am. a Vette has slightly better aerodynamics then a
J**P. As for the attitude thing.. every family has its quirks and
nutballs, Judge as you want, but you won't find any other place with as
much helpful info as right here.

He got all the logical answers, just not the one he wanted to justify
his project. If he started out saying that he wanted to do this project
and knew he would never recoup his investment, the outcome might have
differed. Fact is, his reasons for doing the project were glaring and
that's why he didn't get much in the way of "use a GM V6 XXXXX for your
really cool project". People do Jeep engine swaps for a variety of
reasons, mpg is just not usually one of them.
My ultimate suggestion to the OP, is to purchase a fuel efficient car
for daily drudgery and keep his Jeep for sheer fun, orig. motor intact.
Either way, I'd be interested in hearing about any engine swap for
whatever reasons, good luck!!
