Hm. My AX5 had the internal slave. Can you get a picture of the
transmission?

So your's exited on the driver side as well?
AFAIK everything I've read has always said that the ax5 exits on the
passenger side. I actually remember being really confused when I first
had to bleed the clutch because the book (haynes) said 'passenger
side'. But this could be a simple problem of different model years?
I put in the motor and have replaced the clutch once since then - I
kind of recall having to rotate the bleeder valve to make it fit - but
that could be my memory making things up; it does that sometimes.
I'll take more complete pictures in the morning.

Carl,
So your's exited on the driver side as well?
AFAIK everything I've read has always said that the ax5 exits on the
passenger side. I actually remember being really confused when I first
had to bleed the clutch because the book (haynes) said 'passenger
side'. But this could be a simple problem of different model years?
I put in the motor and have replaced the clutch once since then - I
kind of recall having to rotate the bleeder valve to make it fit - but
that could be my memory making things up; it does that sometimes.
I'll take more complete pictures in the morning.
