Re: D44 replacement shafts
Are you sure they weren't talking about the Dana 35c axles? Like
can you point to a news group or web site that has the broken the 44, I
have, but it in a spooled very quick '59 Corvette. Bounced of the guard
rail five or six times, ended up sitting on a rail, no glass anywhere.

It was on one of these boardsd, not sure which. I was really surprised to
read they'd broken TJ 44 axles shafts. As Jerry B. pointed out, it was most
likely caused by lockers and tires in the 35-37 range. Superior's "Super 44"
kit is supposed to remove this risk.
