My point was that when the line was "revamped" the diesel was dropped
from the US availability.
If it was never available - how did they drop it?
Secondly the preceeding paragraph you quoted says "MOST of the diesels
were sold in Europe and Canada". Where did the rest go?
Couple that with the statement about dropping it from the USA
availability and I don't find it strange that you could find some running
around the USA.

I figured they made them here for export, like the exports got Dana

An honest mistake, but Cherokee did have Throttle Body Injection on
