Re: Out of 4wd Hard
Hi Dave,
I wonder how many of us are driving fast then our tires are rated
at, of course, mud and snow tires are not rated at all, meaning the may
explode at seventy miles an hour, like the Ford Explorer Firestones.
I just barely see your point, like the car won't travel a 150,
without first paying for the optional tires.

M+S tires not rated? Geez, does this mean I need to go out
and remove that obviously fallacious "S" rating from my
Michelin M+S tires? And why are Continental, Michelin, Pirelli
all allowed to label not only their M+S tires as "S" rated, but
their hardcore severe winter tires as well? Send in the
black helicopters.
Dimly recall that in the case of the Firestones, in addition to
chronic underinflation, the 2 door Explorer was more likely to
go rough side up. Not that I am any fan of Firestone tires or
would even think of putting them on a kiddie scooter.
