"Making" ten cents and hour I read as "grossing" ten cents an hour, like
what they pay Bangladeshi kids to make Nikes.
Some months I'm in the red, most I'm in the black...

Re: diesel fuel: why isn't it cheaper than gasoline?
Of course, water is two parts hydrogen, one part oxygen, but how do
you efficiently separate the two? Bleeding heart liberals suggest using
a million dollar wind generator to supply the energy to electrify the
water. Like we did back in high school, and put two plates in a glass of
water hooked to an AC outlet, and watched the hydrogen bubbles come off.
But, ask yourself, what would it take to trap that gas, compress it into
a storage tank to supply your car? Answer: down to about twenty dollars
a gallon by the time the generator wears out and needs to be replaced.

Nope, it was knowing my Brother-in-law was making for a buck a
mile, year before last and paid taxes on an average income of ten cents
a hour, but he "had" a shinny, quarter of a million dollar truck:

Nope, every trucker runs two logs to make the payments, and drives
twenty hours, thousand miles a day. So $730 would be his share of
$365,000.
